Located in Woodside, California, this sophisticated family home was designed for a long-time Fletcher Rhodes client and their growing family of five, balancing timeless luxury with the warmth and functionality needed for everyday living. With soaring ceilings and walls of French doors that flood the interiors with natural light, the home offered the perfect foundation for a layered, highly livable design approach rooted in texture, comfort, and understated elegance.

Throughout the interiors, we mixed darker wood tones and rich architectural finishes with airy linens, boucle & mohair fabrics, soft neutrals, and moody hues of blue, brown, taupe, and cream to create a warm, grounded palette that feels both refined and inviting. The clients’ evolving art collection, paired with collected antiques and custom furnishings, added personality and depth throughout the home, helping the interiors feel curated, timeless, and deeply personal. Designed to support a busy family lifestyle while still feeling elevated and polished, this Woodside interior design project reflects Fletcher Rhodes’ signature approach to creating luxury homes that are sophisticated, comfortable, and meant to evolve beautifully over time.
