The Design Team

Our experienced team shares a common goal: to bring our client's vision to life by transforming homes into something extraordinary—witnessing the magical effect that a new space has on someone’s life.

Whether it’s textiles or tiles, custom furnishings, or sourcing just the right modern fixture, antique collectible or fine art piece, we provide superior services that address a wide array of design needs. Our clients value our fresh aesthetic and our businesses-minded approach to the design process.  In addition to our growing team of designers, we share relationships with the area’s most talented tradespeople, craftsmen, artists and designers. It’s been said before, but home is where the heart is and we’re grateful to be able to work on something so meaningful.

Emily Mughannam, Interior Designer, Creative Director, Wine Country Interior Design, Sonoma Valley Interior Design

Emily mughannam - Owner, Creative Director
inventive | driven | Caring

Emily combines a natural affinity for space and design with experience and education. Once she realized the passion could be a vocation, she pursued and earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with an emphasis in interior design from the Design Institute of San Diego. Soon after, Emily moved to Los Angeles.
Working at small architecture and design firms, she was quick to gain hands-on experience and felt hungry for more. She moved on to San Francisco where she quickly landed a job with notable designer Jay Jeffers, who would have a big influence on her. It was here that Emily honed her personal aesthetic and crafted the image that would become Fletcher Rhodes.

Emily has an innate way of seeing not only space, but also the people who live in it. This intimate understanding of her clients allows her to create the perfect backdrop for their lives.

Happiest in her own house surrounded by her husband and two kids, Emily loves to transform homes into environments with meaning—witnessing the emotions that affect our lives. She hopes to one day help aspiring interior design students as a mentor, giving back to a field that has given so much to her.

Andy is new to interiors and happy to support operations in the warehouse, re-visiting skills from his first job in a hardware store/warehouse 34 years ago!  He appreciates the opportunity to “serve” the needs of the team because service is a calling.

After college, Andy’s real education began in the field (as a practicing geologist observing nature) and in the classroom, learning from his eager students.  These passions led him into service fields to support community by promoting equity and inclusion, focusing on the needs of low-income and at-risk families.

Currently, Andy is most hopeful when he finds harmony in places where people and groups live out the values they talk of. As such, he is a part-time consultant with Awakening Wisdom, an organization dedicated to transforming school culture.

Andy is most joyful when he is rocking out on the drums, hanging out with his family, listening to the stories of genuine folk, and finding things in the dirt.
