#FRpicks: SF Decorator Showcase

Our Bay Area interior design community may be smaller in size than other metropolitan areas, but we are mighty in talent. And nowhere is that more evident that this year’s 2023 San Francisco Decorator Showcase House, featuring fave and upcoming local designers Jon de la Cruz, Kimberly Denman, Chantal Lamberto, Malone, Geddes Ulinskas Architects, Chroma, and Lizette Marie Interior Design. Here are our picks from these standouts!

Lizette Marie Interior Design

His Modern Headquarters - Dark and moody and full of rich emotive textures, Lizette Marie Interior Design’s home office design has us in our feels. Brava!

The Upstairs Keep - A similarly reflective inner sanctuary designed by Jon de la Cruz with a meditative palette of soft velvet and natural elements creates a cozy space we could spend all day in.

Chantal Lamberto

Montana’s Monarchs - We can’t help but think of our own little ones and the dreamy imagination and big ideas this room by Chantal Lamberto would evoke out of their young minds. Whimsical with a nostalgic nod to days of (pre-sceens!) old.

Geddes Ulinskas Architects

The Glowing Canopy - Geddes Ulinskas Architects constructed a modern take on an Art Nouveau Arts & Crafts theme of entwining golden tree branches up into the staircase and beyond that takes the eye up and grasp fully the majestic height of the domed staircase.

CHROMA

The Apollonia Dining Room - Ethereal and contemporary at once, Chroma created a breath-of-fresh-air space that delights and engages in aqua hues. We especially love the innovative ombré wall painting over traditional paneling.

MALONE

Sunset Salon - Malone calls it a “cocktail maker’s laboratory” but we can’t help but feel it’s like a secretive tucked away speakeasy getaway in your own home. The warmth of the wood and marble that shine in the late afternoon sunlight streaming through the home’s original stained glass window is happy hour perfection.

KIMBERLY Denman

Living Room - Rich old world fabrics and materials in deep jewel tones make this space by Kimberly Denman feel as if it is indeed in the “Old World.” Although sophisticated and elevated, the roundness and softness of the pieces makes this perfect for family life.

Thank you to all the SF Decorator Showcase designers who continue to inspire us with their visions!
