Nothing says inspiration quite like morning rays of sunshine. With an expanse of French doors and high ceilings, natural light fills the home while allowing for a picturesque view of the property’s supple greenery. Just the right fit for a growing family.

A generous great room provided an opportunity to challenge us and bring in darker woods to our typical palate. Mixing this with light linens, a fuzzy boucle, and tons of texture and the room begins to take shape. Add in one-of-a-kind pieces from a growing art collection combined with equally unique antiques to anchor the space, and the home comes alive.

Designing for a family can be a challenge. The right balance of sophistication, comfort and utility are a must, and this Woodside property is just that. With its mix of moody hues, cream and taupe offering warm undertones, the timeless design has coalesced into a space for a family to enjoy for many years to come.
