First Look: Sonoma Greens Install

There’s something about summer that makes everything feel fresh and sunny — and that’s how we would describe the light-filled transformation our Sonoma Greens project underwent, just in time to take full advantage of longer, warmer days in Wine Country.

For this project, Fletcher Rhodes designer Anne Randall took the lead. She envisioned light and airy materials with structural lines and neutral textures. All walls got an instant uplifting boost in bright white. Any outdated dark wood or dark fabric finishes were swapped for lighter and whiter.

One of our favorite finished spaces is the great room, where the beams along the vaulted ceilings were painted white, and dark countertops and cabinetry in the kitchen got a fresh facelift too. This one trick alone visually lifted the ceilings and brought in so much more sunlight!

The cute nook to the side of the kitchen was made cozy and more functional with the addition of a settee that invites homeowners and guests to lounge and enjoy the views outdoors.

To elevate the bedrooms, carpet was pulled out and wood floors installed. Any hint of muddled colors were cleared away, leaving the spaces feeling like a breath of fresh air.

We are thrilled with the end result and can’t decide which room is our favorite.
