Before and After: Napa Neue
Fast and flourished! Sometimes a client comes to us with an immediate need (you know, like a global pandemic) and we jump at the opportunity to help a family out where we can.
Our Napa Neue client is a wonderful Ohio family who bought an incredible home in the Napa/Yountville area and hired us to do a rapid design overhaul to get them settled in with their young family, escaping the confines of βthe cityβ (what we Bay Area folks call San Francisco) to spread out and lay out by the pool and gardens, and just enjoy family time together.
Last month we were able to get back in the property and do a fully styled photo shoot with talented photographer Seth Smoot and stylist wife Kendra Smoot. We are in love with what they were able to capture within these spaces we created β a whole moody, modern vibe in true Fletcher Rhodes fashion.

THE LIVING ROOM
With these gorgeous vaulted ceilings, we wanted to keep the ground neutral and light, emphasizing the full height of the room to open it up visually with more volume and space.

THE POWDer roOM
What a difference a new wallcovering can make in a small space! By going with a less busy textured grasscloth and adding a larger mirror, we made this powder room feel large and well-lit.

THE KITCHEN
Thankfully the kitchen had good bones to work with as kitchen remodels can take the most time in a project. We updated the look with new lighting, seating, and accessories to take it from country to contemporary.

THE DINING ROOM
In the dining room, we kept the stunning chandelier by Jonathan Browning and the large raw edge table, replacing the outdated chairs with crisp white modern pieces, and taking advantage of wall space to add a piece by artist Alex Cole.
THE PRIMARY BEDROOM
Even with a fireplace and window seats, the primary bedroom definitely had some room for improvement. Adding layers and layers of neutral texture, details, and fine art which ups this space from sweet to sophisticated.

We had a lot of fun with this quick turnaround, despite all the Covid-related delays and challenges our industry is currently facing. These clients are so wonderful, we really enjoy working with them, love their trust and appreciation for what we do and let us run with all our ideas!
