Working with Fletcher Rhodes: The Creative Phase (Phase 2)

In Part One of our series “Working with Fletcher Rhodes,” we explored what we call the Getting to Know You Phase (Phase 1). Now in Part Two, we’re diving into THE CREATIVE PHASE. Exciting and bold, it’s time for space plans, design boards, materials, concepts, and renderings. Let’s jump in…

After the discovery phase, you are officially part of the Fletcher Rhodes family. Your project is underway! We know that home is the most significant and sacred of all your environments and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to help you enhance your space. We cannot wait to get to know you better over the next several months.

During Phase 2, we present you with well-developed ideas for your space so you can begin to see how the project will come to life. Each room design is assembled with its own material board and presentation, or what we like to call a Look Book.

Before we even get into the design process, we need to make sure we have the full picture. Our process is built on open communication and collaboration, so a client’s input is of the utmost importance. We have you start some “homework”, filling out a detailed client questionnaire, starting a Pinterest mood board. These will help us get to know you better, provide a reference point we can revisit throughout the project, and give us a chance to get a clear answer on anything we haven’t already discussed. The work here will lay the foundation of your space’s unique design plan, so we ask you to be as honest and thorough as possible!
